29 yrs in prison vs. $1.2 million?????

Raymond Towler (52) a Cleveland native, was recently released from prison after 29 years. He was wrongfully convicted of rape and after DNA finally proved he was not the culpret, he was released.

Raymond Towler freed after 29 years in prison for rape he did not commit

The state has decided to award Towler $40,330.00 for every year he spent in prison. This total comes up to approximately $1.2 million. However, my question to all of you is…is that enough?

Is $1.2 Million a fair settlement for a man that wrongfully spent 29 years behind bars???? Or should he try to get more????
